Boston Dancesport Cup 2023 January – Our report about the event
The Boston Dancesport Cup is an annual ballroom dance competition featuring various dance categories such as Standard, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm, and others. Dancers from all over the world come to compete in this prestigious event.
The event is organized by a group of dance organizations, dance schools, and dance enthusiasts in the Boston area. It is an event that aims to promote ballroom dancing and showcase the talents of local and international dancers.
The Boston Dancesport Cup 2023 was the first competition of the year and it took place in Hilton Boston-Woburn.
Amerigo Dance Studio participated in this wonderful dancesport event with our lovely students.
Our team had a wonderful time at the gala on Friday night, the Latin show was simply amazing, and the Irish step shows were also impressive.
We had a great time on Saturday, with Rhythm Smooth and Night Club dances on the same day, which made the event really unique.
The students of Amerigo Dance Studio did great, congratulations to Eleanor Paglia, who won the Rhythm Bronze C Scholarship, and Irina Shapeton who won the Rhythm Silver C Scholarship!
It is always great, when the students of Amerigo Dance Studio show up together at such a nice event to present their skills.
We would also like to thank Basil Issaev and Teresa for organizing this great event and creating such a friendly atmosphere!
Imre Gombkoto, Amerigo Dance Studio’s instructor came 5th in the best teacher competition on this occasion.

Our next event will be the New York Dance Festival taking place at the Midtown Hilton Hotel for the Camp and the Competition between 20-26 February, 2023.
